Your third tooth but first that didn’t require going to the dentist. Last night you were eating beef and it got stuck in between your teeth so you cried/whined until I got a toothpick. I thought you pointed to your wiggly tooth so I moved it. It seemed to almost come out. But you freaked out and cried. Then you pointed to the spot with the beef. I took that out. Then I tickled you for a long while and when I stopped you got up and your tooth had fallen out!

You thanked me that night and the next day for tickling you to get your tooth out.

Today, you got out of the tub and started whistling!! Even gato came to check it out!!

You mentioned a few days ago, out of the blue: “when I get older it will be hard to find someone to marry who speaks Portuguese”. I asked why does he need to speak Portuguese, and you said “because I speak Portuguese and English, so he needs to speak it too”!

Tonight we had dinner late due to late brunch for Easter so I said no playing in the tub and you told us when you grow up you are going to let your kids play whenever they want.

This one was harder. It took you 2 or 3 tries. You confused quay May toy and ratt May toy. And forgot one stance. They let you practice with me and then you passed. Orange belt time!

You passed your surgeons yet tonight.

The cold weather brought snowish hail and you asked when we would go to michigan with snow. I said not until Dec when you were in second grade. You said “I’ll be seven in second grade?” Yes. I will have to go see the doctor? Yes. Will I have to get a shot?

I laughed.

Yesterday you wanted to brush your hair before you took a bath. You took so long Eric finished his bath before you were done but you did a great job with your hair. As far as I can remember that was the first time you did it by yourself.

You then took a bath by yourself.

While talking to grandpa David on the phone you proceeded to clean Eric’s room all by yourself without anyone asking you!! You did a great job too!!

Was it because I said (to grandpa daivd) you brought home such cool books from the library? Maybe.

You told me you did not want to sleep by yourself. I told you that you sleep in your bed by yourself all the time.

I asked you why and you said because of the monsters under your bed.

I showed you there was nothing under your bed.
