You missed school yesterday and today, for the first time since classes began in August. You have a fever but pretty much no other symptons, so we don’t know what’s causing it. Doctor tested you for strep but it was negative. You were fever free most of the time today, but it started again in the evening…

You have a new (temporary) bus (I talked to Mr O and he said the normal bus has transmission problems). You told me you wanted me to drive you to school because you didn’t want to go on the bus. I asked you many times why and you finally said because you didn’t like the color of the seats (gray instead of black?).

Mamae convinced you it was ok.

Ronnie said he didn’t like the new bus either. Nor did Mr O.

Your school mate Haven lost a tooth today.
I asked what happens. You said he will put it under his pillow and the tooth fairy will give him money.
I asked you why the tooth fairy gives money.
You said that the tooth fairy gives a coin with chocolate inside.

Your after school had an Art Show, and you had 3 pictures in the exhibit. An apple, a pumpkin and a cat (looks a lot like Gato). They are all really good, the apple is great and my favorite. They are a mix of watercolor and pastel. Another artist in the making to continue the family tradition? You have been saying often you want to be a Book Illustrator!

You were arguing with us that you have a 4th and last name: Melon/watermelon. You said your friend Samantha from Bluebonnet told you that it was your name. You kept arguing that you want to change it for real, no pretending.

You told us you didn’t want to go to kindergarten anymore, just rainbow station. After asking you why a bunch of times, you spit out a huge story (need to confirm all the facts with Ms. Biedermann) about your classmate who sits at your table did a lot of bad things: hit you, pushed you, kicked you, made fun of you. You said Ms. Biedermann put her in a timeout and she came back too soon. She was so bad Ms. Biedermann had to call her mom.

A couple of days ago you showed me you could put your whole face under the shower. The next day you put your face in the shower head while it was pointed up. Finally over your fear

Today you showed me you know how to use the swing by yourself!! You got on and put your feet forward and back.

Each day (?) each table tries to win (by being quite?) the treasure and your table won today!
