  • Potty training continues

    You came to our room at 4am (6/17) dripping in pee. Thankfully we had the water proof cover on. Gave you a bath and put you back to bed with fresh sheets. However, you wouldn’t go back to sleep so mamae brought you to our room, but we had to put the new water proof cover on our bed (since you peed on out bed the previous night). Exhausted.

    Some progress though:

    Pee on the potty at home: 6/16 7pm

    You claimed to have peed at school but that us unconfirmed. Considering the overnight pee, I’d say you didn’t go at school. Mamae jinxed us by saying maybe you did pee at school because the amount you peed at home was small.

  • Holding your pee

    I think we need to call Guinness book of world records. You held your pee (minimum 15oz) for 24 hours!

    Finally we gave in (worried you might gave a UTI) and gave you a pull up. You let go and made a huge pee that overflowed the pull up easy.

  • Poop on the potty

    Yeah! You made poop on the potty (at home).

  • Your skirt

    Yesterday I told you I like your skirt and you told me that I couldn’t wear your skirt cuz u was too big.

    When I told the story to mamae at the dinner table you told me to put on (your?) a skirt.

    We all had a good laugh.

  • Dearest friend

    We were in the car coming home after school. You were talking about playing with your friend Alice. I asked:
    – Is Alice your dearest friend?
    – No.
    – No? Who is your dearest friend then?
    – Mamae.
    Awwwww.

  • Goofy

    At school they had a valentines day party (Friday, Feb 11th, early so every parent wouldn’t be trying to go to the school at the same time). Someone gave out sun glasses. You put them on and I had you do the “sign of the horns”. You showed Miss Nichole and she said you were goofy and you said “I am goofy”.

  • Boca ta Spicy

    You were up stairs by yourself for a little while, and I had left the Green Chili chips bag open. You decided to try one and came running down the stairs “boca ta spicy!” We gave you some water to drink, but couldn’t help but laugh.

  • Coca cola incident

    While at grandpa david’s (how fitting, the cola drinkers haven) near Xmas, we were all drinking out of dark blue glasses so it was hard to tell the contents. We accidentally gave you someone’s coke to drink. You hated it. And now you seem to hate anything with ‘bubbles’.

  • Happy New York

    That’s what you told Papa on the phone from the hotel room in Chicago when Nonna told you to say Happy New Year. 🙂

  • Beets

    Today you tried beets! Primo Zylus loves beets and ate nearly all of them. He suggested you try them. Of course your first answer was no. But I said you could have more bread (warm pita bread) if you tried the beets. You ate a small piece and said you didn’t like it. Then, later, you asked for more beets. But they were all gone (Zylus strikes again). Nonna asked for some more but then you didn’t want them. We’ll try again another time (not sure when cuz I don’t think mamae likes them and I don’t either).
