We went to visit Matty across the street and you saw her go up the slide, so you went up too, all by yourself. Then, you slide down, but I sort of helped you. However, you repeated this multiple times and I stopped helping you to see if you could do it ypurself and you did slide all the way down on your own.

Going to sleep by yourself, almost
Last night, you wanted to read by yourself and I asked if you wanted to sleep by yourself and you said yes! So, I sat in a chair and waited. Amazingly you didn’t cry and eventually you did fall asleep. It was hard to know when you were asleep as I couldn’t see you eyes so I got up to leave a couple of times and you were still awake, so i sat down and waited longer. Around 10pm (fairly normal for you to be falling asleep) I was able to leave.
Unfortunately you woke up in the middle of the night and would not go back to you bed. But hopefully this is a good new trend.

No Circus for you
We tried to take you to the circus today. We got in and you immeadiately hated the whole thing – we don’t know exactly what, the loud music or the darkness, and to top it off, the fireworks that scare you so much. Not even the horses and elephants convinced you to stay. We had to leave and luckily they gave our money back. Maybe next year…

A couple of days ago, You made a (small) mess, so you said “ai ai ai Julia.” You said it again later in the day, but I think you made a mess that time.

For some reason, you recently decided to pit your fingers in your mouth. You didn’t do this at all (more or less) until like a month ago. Why now?

Noticing your hair
A week or so ago (probably after we got your hair cut) you started noticing your hair against your back. You like to turn your head back and forth to have your hair brush against your back. Sometimes you say “cabelo”.

Trying peanuts
Mamae gave you peanuts for the first time today. You were asking for chocolate and she let you have snickers, which contains peanuts. You loved it and didn’t have any sort of reaction. However people say that it’s the second time that determines if you will be allergic or not, so we’ll see.

Trying no naps
You’ve been not wanting to nap in the afternoon at all (neither watching filme, and barely in the bugaboo). So, a couple of days ago we decided to try keeping you up all day and putting you to bed earlier. Surprisingly you weren’t too cranky staying up without a nap and you feel asleep standing up while we tried to put you’re PJs on. Needless to say, e didn’t need to read a book and you were asleep before 8 pm

Chicken hearts
You played most of the night and didn’t eat anything, but by 11pm you were very hungry so we gave you chicken hearts. You ate around 5 by yourself. Mamae is so proud of her little brasilian.
