  • Ha Ha: Bigger laughs

You sure think mommy is funny (she is).

You did a 2 syllable laugh (compared to your first 1 syllable “ha” you’ve been doing previously).

Ironic, because you sure were cranky today.

  • 3 months old!

You’re 3 months old today, now you’re not a newborn anymore. Everybody tells us that from 3 months on everything gets easier and more fun, let’s see if we can tell the difference in a couple of weeks. Too bad there’s no doctor visit, we wanted to know how much you have grown.

  • So the Drooling begins

A couple of days ago, your normal bubbles turned into a small amount of drool.
Enough to make your shirt wet.
Mommy didn’t believe it was that much, but then saw the amount that had landed on your chest and was very surprised.

    Maybe you’re teething already.

  • Hold that toy – and eat it

Today not only you grabbed a few of your toys using both hands but you also brought them to your mouth. You haven’t really put them in your mouth yet, you just attempted doing it.

  • Hold that toy

You have been touching toys, clothes, everything in your reach; now you started grabbing your toys for a few seconds before they fall from your hand. Your right hand is the hand of choice, and the plush rattle with ribbons has been the toy you could hold for longer.

  • Fluke?

You haven’t rolled again so far, so I’m wondering if that first one was just an accident…

  • Blowing bubbles

Not sure when exactly it started, but you have been making bubbles and drooling quite a bit for the last week or so. The beginning of a new phase?

  • Rolling

While you were doing your tummy time this morning you rolled to your back, but we don’t know if it was an accident or if you know how to do it. We’ll see if you can repeat the feat! You looked pretty happy with yourself, and smiled a big smile like telling me that’s what you wanted to do all along.

  • Zzzzzzzzz

You slept 5 hours straight for the first time last night! We put you in your crib at 1 AM after a feeding and when I woke up with your cry and looked at the clock, I almost didn’t believe my eyes: 6 AM! WOW! Hopefully you will do this again 🙂

  • Discovering your hands

This morning you were sitting on your grandma’s Lucia lap and staring at her pijama’s sleeve for a while. Then you actually started trying to grab the sleeve with your right hand. You have been opening both hands and touching things randomly, but we hadn’t seen you try and grab something until now.
