  • Asking to Sleep

Tonight, you actually pointed to the crib to go to sleep.

You were laying on my chest, and after a fairly short while, you decided it would be nicer to sleep in your crib, so you sat up and pointed and I got up and laid you down. You looked up at me (laying on your side), I said boa noti, and you laid in your usual sleeping position (on your stomach) and closed your eyes. I was shocked! and very happy.

  • Walking on our shoes

Can’t remember when you tried to wear your daddy’s shoes for the first time. Some time last month. Now you decided to do it again, wearing my red flats that you love. You were actually able to walk a little bit wearing them, it was cute. We took some pictures, and the other funny thing is that you were holding a potato, that you had just stolen from the pantry after saying “batata”.

  • No no no

I don’t know how we forgot about your recent habit of saying (38) “no”. To be exact, “no no no” to everything. It started a week ago, you just started saying “no” on top of waving your head. Now you say “no” to just about any question we ask.

  • Batata

yesterday you said (37) batata (though, with less b).

  • Opening doors

You are now tall enough that you can open doors. You just opened the pantry door (your favorite place in the kitchen). You loved closing all the doors and then asked us to open them for you since you could touch the door handle but not well enough to move it. Now we will have to pay a lot more attention to where you are going…
